The story.
The brief
Anne and Dan Adams wanted to update their brick house, built around 1980, in the Bloomington area of St. George. The home had good bones and features worth keeping, including a stained glass front door.
The work
The owners are avid cooks, so the kitchen and an open dining area where family and friends can gather were the center of the project. Large folding windows now span the width of the kitchen and open onto the patio, bringing the trees and grass of the backyard inside.
The result
A functional kitchen and open dining space in a well-built home that kept its character. The Adams family wrote that they still find themselves sitting in the home admiring the clean lines and timeless features.
